The Guest Unseen
This was our new friend a few days ago. John went out one morning to go to work. As he walked in the garage, this guy was walking out. John said "I let him sleep in the garage, and now he wants to fight". The thing is huge. He looked like a mini lobster. About 25 more of them and we would have had a crawfish boil! Here's a video or two...
Happy Mother's Day!

Today I want to celebrate my mom.
Thank you, Mom for all that you do and most especially all the you have done. You have always been a great mom. You have protected me me from many things. You have allowed me to learn from my own mistakes. You have prayed diligently for me. I am so thankful for all of it.
I know my childhood wasn't easy for you. I know I was not the easiest child I look at my own children and see your dilemma. I thank you for loving me anyway.
I thank you for being there for me. For praying for me and being there when I asked to go to church with you. Thank you for stating the Truth without serving judgment. I know it made the Truth easier to accept. Thank you for all the prayer, I know it works! I am a result of it. Thank you for teaching the kids Hebrew. Thank you for those few hours of rest I get when the girls are playing at your house. Thank you for keeping them all when I have appointments. You are such a big help.
Lunch with Daddy
This is a few picks from Adtran. We had lunch with Daddy. I thought the geese on their nests was neat. They are all over. The little duck family was so cute. I tried to explain to the kids that those children stay close to their mommy. They said they were just babies that's why. And I thought it was an object lesson.
Square Foot Gardening
I decided to give square foot gardening a shot this year. I hope it keep the whole thing managable. I get over-whelmed with a big garden and let it go. Hopefully this will keep me from that. I planted lots of flowers, coreander, dill, lavender, corn, carrots, green beans, edemames, okra, watermelon, cantalope, tomatoes, wow, a lot! Notice the last picture, that's my gardener. He will be all over the garden. I can tell. I think in this picture he is playing with garden sheers I left... *note to self* keep all tools under tight supervision. Planted April 30. We'll see how it goes....
