Facelift, anyone? Anyone?
me. Me. ME! Yes I need a facelift.
I need a facelift, but just the corners of my mouth kind. You know the kind that make you smile. Really, not a Joan Rivers perma-smile, just a -glad to be here- smile. Maybe a -hi there friend- smile.
Right now I am not wanting to smile. I am just too tired, too hormonal, too blah! I just spent the first half of 5 days with 200 first and second graders at my church's VBS. During that week my hubby worked 60+ hours and at one point he had logged 40 hours in the span of 48 hours (Do you know that we live 30 minutes from his work, one way...you do the math) My children are over stimulated and whiny from their VBS week. And I haven't had a *normal* menstrual cycle for YEARS... until this week.
I know it's TMI, too much information, but I really need to get past this blah, so I am announcing it to the 3 people who actually read this blog. I know you only read it because I send it to you, but work with me here.
No, no, no, this is just all wrong! I wrote the title to tell you that I am bored with they way my blog looks, but instead I got sidetracked into my own little "woe is me" moment. Sorry! My actual point in this post was... my BLOG needs a facelift.
Well, there you go, my personal pity party and my blog pity party. Just think you got 2 for one here!
Interesting new website and giveaways!
I have stummbled across this website Raising Homemakers. That is such a desire in me to train the girls to be better at this job than I am. To kick off their new site (with several contributors) they are having lots of giveaways!
This one for a 10 dvd set of Homestead Blessings is one of those I would really like. I would take them one at a time if someone wanted to gift them to me :) Hurry and enter this giveaway will end on Friday, June 4th at 8pm EST.
They are also giving away a copy of the book I am currently reading Raising Maidens of Virtue by Stacy McDonald. I am loving it! It is more for a wee bit older girls than mine (right now) but I am being challenged at every step.
And the first giveaway they are having is Polished Cornerstones book and the Beautiful Girlhood collection. I hope to get the Polished Cornerstones book before they start the link up on June 30! I don't know what a link up is but I am very interested in the book. Maybe it will be something that helps me out! Hurry and enter this giveaway will end on Friday, June 4th at 8pm EST.

God our Father
We just returned from vacation and I was able to snag this while we were there. As you can see I had to be prepared, he's a fast little thing. It is an amazing blessing to hear my children pray!
