Baby conference

Hi everyone, I know it's been a while. I have a LOT on my plate and mind, so the blog world suffers. I did run across a giveaway I would really like, I thought you may too.
Raising Homemakers is a cool site about the task we moms with girls face. Raising them to love and enjoy the "home" and the work God has called us to there. Check out this post and enter to win a mp3 cd of Vision Forum's Baby conference. Speakers include: Michele Duggar, Doug and Beall Phillips, Victoria Botkin, and so many more... over 36 HOURS of listening. Enjoy and blessings!

Dear body...

Dear ankle,
I know you have been abused and mistreated, but could you please do your job of keeping my leg ON TOP of my foot? I am really tired of you throwing me down at odd and random moments. I do not enjoy scrapping my knees, bruising my legs, and hurling against the concrete.
Forever yours,
Brandee 7-29-10

Dear rogue joint called ankle,
You and your weak ways have been changed. This marvel of fashion on my foot could poosibly be the end of your failing ways. I shall wear it knowing that you, dear ankle, may continue in these failing ways and this fashion gem shall hopefully keep me upright.
Confidently Standing,
Brandee 7-30-10

School is here?

So, school is not actually here, but just around the corner. Although we do school a bit all summer, we will officially plunge into a new routine and new books next week. So this week is dive in time. This week I take inventory, make a lesson plan for about a month, and get every thing ready.
My goals for this year are really simple: Capture the hearts of my children to obey, quickly and with a good attitude about it. I want to get Smiley confident with multiplication facts and enjoying reading. Jmama, well I just want to get her reading. What about Boy you ask? I just want him to learn his abc's and learn to play alone for a few minutes, while we have school.

Let the Son shine!
